More Days Out and a Gentle Summer Walk.

Continuing my days out, our third day was spent in Liverpool mainly to see the Turner Monet and Twombly exhibition at the Tate. The weather was absolutely beautiful which added to the brilliant atmosphere at the Albert Dock.

My photographs unfortunately were not that good, it was just too sunny!! The exhibition however was amazing and is well worth a visit if you are in the Liverpool area, it finishes on the 28th October.

After three days of going out we decided to have a day at home, I went for a walk with my youngest daughter Phoebe.

It was a beautiful gentle summers day, we found some lovely grasses.

And some pretty seed heads.

  1. Your photos are getting better and better, Sandra. I love the one of Phoebe in the long grass, where she is facing the viewer. I would have easily believed that this one was from some summer catalogue. I bet she was happy with the result?

  2. Your day sounds wonderful. I haven't been to Tate Liverpool yet (or indeed Liverpool itself) but its high up on my 'must visit' list.
The images of your walk amongst the grasses with your very beautiful daughter are sublime. I especially like the one with the grasses in the foreground and your daughter looking through them. Absolutely stunning - her and the image!

    1. If you get the chance Niki I can highly recommend the Turner, Monet and Twombly exhibition. I am not a huge fan of Monet but the luminosity in some of his paintings is truly wonderful. The photo shoot was fun, we were both really pleased with the results.
