Came across the artist Andy Coutanche today whilst browsing Coast magazine, Andy is from Jersey and he is a sand artist and will soon be competing in the My Memory beach art championships.
I don't think he has a website but I did find this video.
Also competing is the San Francisco artist Andres Amador who makes some amazing patterns in the sand.
Wow, these images are wonderful, what a talented artist. Ive seen a lot of sand art on the North coast of Brittany Coast but nothing like this. I must look out for more of his work as I love landscape art. Thanks for pointing this out.
I also love landscape art but when I think of sand art I immediately think sculptural. I think it looks amazing, and he is so fluid with the rake. I would love to go and watch the beach art championships unfortunately Jersey is a little far away!!
