Sale Waterside Open

I am very pleased that I have had a piece of my work accepted for this years Waterside Open exhibition. I submitted a small work on paper and I am delighted with how it looks in the exhibition.

It was quite difficult to photograph because the light was behind me, side views seemed to work the best.

The exhibition is diverse as usual, although there is not much sculpture this year, the prize winners this year were mainly painters.

First prize went to Ewa Konior for her painting Garden.

Second prize went to Tilly Dagnall for her painting Maybelline.

The best in Trafford prize went to Julia Milns for her painting Three Trees.
The exhibition is on untill 24th May

  1. Hello! firstly, great news about the Waterside exhibition and I enjoyed the photos you posted. How funny we both posted a blog today after weeks of nothing! Our brain waves are definitely connected! Anyway, great to be back in touch and speak again soon, Niki x

  3. First of all congratulations! Your artwork is really lovely - the colours you have chosen are impressive, everything reminds me of a very warm summer with lots of flowers and ripe fruit. I'm not good at painting abstract "stuff", so I admire your ability to capture emotions this way.

I'm not sure about the 1st prize winner, but I do like the other two. It seems like it's an interesting exhibition, I'd definitely go to see it if I lived near by. K.
