Nearly There

There are two weeks to go to the start of my exhibition at The Sale Waterside, all the paintings are done, just a little tweaking to do on a couple of them (I have a problem with this, just don't know when to stop). All the small paintings are framed and I have started to photograph everything for my website which will be live soon!! Here is a better photo of the green painting (no title yet!) and one of the smaller paintings.

  1. Sandra, I am so excited for you. Your work looks beautiful and the Arts Centre website looks amazing too, a great venue. We were hoping to get down on Saturday but my eldest is 'on duty' at his school open day so we are coming down in the October holidays instead and going to combine it with a visit further south to The RSC to see Hamlet. I cant wait to see your website too, what an exciting time you are having. Very best of luck for the opening, I bet it will be a fantastic day. Look forward to seeing the paintings soon. x

    1. Hi Niki, I have just got back from delivering all the paintings to the Waterside, it was such a huge relief to finally get everything there although I am now feeling nervous about whether there is enough and is it good enough!! My website should go live sometime tomorrow I will probably do a post about it. Do let me know if and when you might be visiting I would love to meet you, hope you are keeping well speak soon. x

  2. Oh gosh, you don't half bring on challenges all at once! Opening a show & launching a website all in one week, wow! I CANNOT wait to see your site and show & yes, I shall let you know when we will be down, our trip is growing by the second as we now want to take in Birmingham Rep to see Twelve Angry Men and also want to drop into Liverpool as none of us have ever been. I cant wait!

    1. Your trip sounds exciting Niki. It was a busy day yesterday I was at the gallery just checking things over and then sorting out the website and then out to a private view at the Ruthin Craft Centre for the Rendezvous Goldmiths exhibition. What I should mention to you about the gallery bar at the Waterside is that it sometimes has events going on in their so you need to check before you come that its actually open to the public. Have a good weekend. x
