Painting

A few things that have been happening recently, excitingly I have a few paintings in a small exhibition at the Waterside Arts Centre in Sale. The exhibition is in the gallery bar and is on until early December, all work is for sale. I have also finished three large paintings, started a series of watercolours based on my night paintings sketchbook and another series inspired by the seasons, and at last I have been on a printing course at Hot Bed Press in Manchester called Painterly Screenprinting, photos to follow in subsequent posts, but for know here is a little sneak peak.

    1. Thanks Claire, I will try and dedicate a whole post to the printing course, although, my prints are pretty basic compared to the course tutor and some of the other students!

  2. Golly, what a lot of interesting things you have been doing. The print course sounds brilliant and I am really looking forward to seeing your work from this. Great news to have your work for sale in a gallery - i really wish it was closer to Edinburgh as I would be right in there.
I adore the painting with the pansies above, its really beautiful and dreamy, absolutely gorgeous, lucky people who get the chance to buy your work.

    1. Yes Niki I have been quite busy, I hadn't realised how much work I had done until I wrote it all down. Hope the craft fair goes well, and how is the etsy shop coming along? I would love to buy some of those mugs you posted about recently.
