Sketchbook

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday break, and looking forward to a full creative New Year. Thanks to everyone who has supported me this year, it is great to get comments and they have really helped a lot.
Not much to post about, however I did manage to do a little sketchbook work before the break.

  1. Yes I am enjoying the holiday break and thinking of new creative ideas for next year.
I love to see sketchbook work and I really like yours - I see that you try out mixing colours just like I do on the page - I do it so I can remember how I have made the colour as I think I will remember but don't always :-)

  2. Thanks Jacqui for your comment. I have had some new paints for Christmas, gouache, which I have not used before so should be posting some sketchbook work using these soon.

  4. I admire people who manage to fill their sketch books with lovely little pictures. I know that a sketch book is for trying things out, yet I always hope that everything can be turned into a masterpiece - I start sketching and then decide that I'm not happy with what I've done and give up!

I guess one of my 2012 resolutions could be to force myself to enjoy just sketching :)
