Tatton Park Revisited

At the weekend I went to check out how the beautiful hydrangea plant at Tatton Park is getting on, I have since found out that it is of the lace cap variety. The growth has been rapid and it is now in bud but still retains some of last years dead flowers.

There has been a lot of growth by the window which is almost completely obscured by greenery.

It is supposed to flower in July but it is already in bud and looks fairly close to flowering, I am looking forward to finding out what colour it is.

It was a lovely day full of sunshine and flowers and tree hugging. Today however I am wearing a jumper and it looks like rain!!

Holiday Memories

We often go to Cornwall for our summer holidays and are hoping to go again this year. With this in mind I have been browsing the internet and planning my many gallery visits. Today I came across two paintings that made me smile and evoked memories of sitting on the beach or harbour watching the boats bobbing up and down.

They are by self taught artist David Pearce and you can find more of his work at Padstow Fine Art.

Blossom

This is such a beautiful time of year and the blossom as usual is out in abundance.

Elaine Pamphilon: New Exhibition

Elaine Pamphilons latest exhibition is at the Open Eye Gallery in Edinburgh, if anyone lives near there it is probably well worth a visit. Unfortunately it is to far away for me, so yet again I will have to be content with looking on line.
